Student Life Ministry – Micheal Sims (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Those involved in the Student Life Ministry work with our teenagers in the areas
of teaching, directing small groups, helping with activities, and mentoring. If
you love working with young adults and watching them grow, this is the ministry
Children’s Ministry – Leslie Reynolds (email@example.com)
Our Children’s Ministry consists of volunteers that help with the nursery, teach,
help with special events, supply snacks and supplies, and greet parents and
children at the Welcome Desk.
Tech Ministry – Tyler Watson (firstname.lastname@example.org)
The Tech Ministry of FCC is a behind-the-scenes yet extremely important ministry. The volunteers in this ministry are responsible for balancing the sound, running the screen presentation, and recording the worship services with our video camera. They also record the sermons digitally for the website. If you have experience in working with sound boards, audio, and video equipment this may be the ministry for you.
Drama - Heather Anderson (email@example.com) & Bonnie Ford (firstname.lastname@example.org) This ministry puts together skits to be used in services and special events. If you enjoy using your creativity on stage through acting or presentation or behind the scenes with production please contact us.
First Impressions Ministry –Mike Faust (email@example.com)
The volunteers of the First Impressions Ministry make people feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Some help guests find a place to park, some greet folks as they arrive, some hand out bulletins and help people find a place to sit. They are always available to assist people with directions throughout the church building. If you enjoy meeting new people and reaching out with a smile and kind word you may enjoy working with this wonderful group of volunteers.
Shepherding Ministry – Wayne Caton - (firstname.lastname@example.org)
The Shepherding Ministry makes visits to our shut-ins and hospitalized members
(offering them Communion if they wish). They also send cards, make phone calls, and are available for those who just need someone to talk to. Members of this team also greet and meet any new church member when they join the church.
Evangelism Ministry – Marilyn Cook - (email@example.com)
The Evangelism Ministry is actually a mission of FCC. These are volunteers
that work with our Care and Share mission helping people within our church
as well as the community. Each week they provide Bible Study and food boxes.
But the work continues throughout the week as volunteers pick up food from
various restaurants and grocery stores, shop for the food bank, prepare coupons, recycle, pick up boxes, interview clients, and provide compassionate listening. Help is always needed and welcomed if this is an area where you would like to serve.
New Members Ministry – Melissa Clark - (firstname.lastname@example.org)
The New Members Ministry takes photos of our new Members so everyone can get to know them. They assist our new members where needed and help them feel welcome and able to get involved.
Missions Ministry– Ron Dayhoff - (email@example.com)
FCC Missions provides financial support for several Christian organizations in the U.S. and abroad. These include the church's Care and Share mission, several schools, a camp, and mission groups in India and Thailand.
Facilities Ministry– Tim Tinsley- (firstname.lastname@example.org)
The volunteers in this ministry help with the upkeep and general maintenance of the church facilities. People serving God by using their talents to maintain what God has provided us with... our church home... "God's facilities." If you have knowledge in any maintenance area or are available to help with general cleaning you may wish to be a part of this ministry.
Grounds Ministry– David Ellisor - (email@example.com)
FCC has a lawn maintenance company to handle the larger jobs on the church
grounds; however, there is always a need for volunteers to help with other special projects. If you love to work outdoors there is a place for you in this ministry.
Faith In Action Ministry - Johnnie Dickerson - (firstname.lastname@example.org)
This ministry includes every member of FCC of all ages. Through our Faith In Action projects we become the hands and feet of Jesus in the local community. We reach out to our nursing and assisted living homes, the homeless, foster children facilities, women's pregnancy centers, and the elderly. We do physical labor at these facilities, help with yard and facility clean up, have special programs for them and also include the children in our Vacation Bible School and have banquets just for them at the church.
Men's Ministry - Robert Wicks - (email@example.com)
The men of FCC "step up" to help in any and every aspect of the church where there is a need. Each man has gifts and talents and uses them to help around the church building whenever possible. There are also several small accountability groups who meet together on a regular basis. They have a retreat each year to build relationships and come together in prayer and discussion.
D Group Ministry - Michael Sims- (firstname.lastname@example.org)
We have several small groups of 10-12 people that meet at the time of their choosing during the week. The purpose of the small groups is for deeper Bible study as well as building authentic relationships and growing in our faith together.
