Who We Are
What to Expect
Welcome to FCC on the web. We hope you will consider being our special guest us on a Sunday morning at our 9 am Traditions Service or our 10:30 Connections Service. We would love to meet you. Please take a moment to read about our mission and meet the staff. At FCC, we realize that we all have a past and we are not as concerned about where you have been as much as where you are going. We want to help you see the love of Jesus and experience a real relationship with God. If you would like to view a video by our Lead Pastor, Stan Percival, about what we believe, please click here.
We have two worship service experiences on Sunday Mornings here at FCC. The atmosphere of the Traditions Service at 9 am has very familiar elements that people of all generations have known and loved as their traditions. The room has brighter lighting and the music as you enter and leave the service is softer. The order of service is structured in the same way each week. Members of the congregation, along with the staff, serve on a rotation in offering communion thoughts, scripture readings, and prayers. The music is "piano driven" with other instruments as needed. The songs are a blend of familiar hymns and loved praise songs and choruses led by the adult choir, a vocal ensemble, and our Worship Arts Pastor, Dan Thomason. Special music is offered on a regular basis. Occasionally a skit is presented by the drama ministry as needed. The Lord’s Supper and the giving of our tithes and offerings takes place weekly.
The Connections Service at 10:30 am is unlike any atmosphere we have ever created for a worship service at FCC. The lighting is darker, the music is louder, and the dress is casual and comfortable. More video and multimedia elements are used than ever before and the service is produced by our staff, volunteers, and a band using new and contemporary music done in a modern style. Communion is served weekly but presented in fresh new ways. Tithes and offering boxes are available at the door when leaving the service as well as online giving available here on our website.
You may notice that here at FCC we observe the Lords Supper (Communion) each Sunday. Jesus gave us this special memorial to call our attention to the price He paid for our sins on the cross. All Christians are invited to participate in this special time.
You also may witness a baptism during the services. This great event is part of a person's decision to commit his/her life to Christ. Immersion in water pictures the death and burial of our old life, the beginning of our new life as a follower of Christ, and the receiving of the Holy Spirit to live in us and guide us daily.
Every Sunday our children are cared for and taught by loving and trained teachers who have received a background check. Nursery care is lovingly provided for infants and toddlers in a safe and clean environment.
We have discipleship classes for all ages during both 9am and 10:30 hours. We believe in discipling ourselves and our children to maturity and this is a great time for all ages to learn more about the Bible together and enjoy building relationships with each other as we learn. if you have any other questions please call or email us. Can't wait to meet you! Welcome!!
